This event is part of WCCP's Summer Festival and is suitable for ages 5+, adults and families welcome.
Please meet the Ranger at the start time of the event at the location outlined below.
Join Ranger Helena on a gentle summer walk starting at Sandwich Quay as we look out for birds and other wildlife in the area.
As you enjoy your stroll, Helena will share tips on how to spot and identify different birds, pointing our key features and behaviours to look out for- no experience needed! This is a great opportunity to slow down, look closer and discover the wildlife on your doorstep.
A relaxed and informative guided walk, suitable for adults as well as families with children aged 5+. Children will be offered a spotter sheet to take around with them and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
This walk will cover uneven terrain with some inclines. This is a FREE event with donations gratefully appreciated.
